Fraud Alert

Please be advised that a telephone scam is currently circulating where the caller pretends to be with a financial institution, such as Bay State Savings Bank, and attempts to deceive the listener into believing that their loan is delinquent, that their home is in foreclosure, or that they will be arrested.

We recommend that you:

• Never disclose sensitive information such as account number, debit card number, SSN, or PIN over the phone.
• If you receive a call of this nature claiming to be from Bay State Savings Bank, hang up and contact us using a known phone number (e.g., on our website or on your statements) to inquire about the status of any of your accounts.
• If you believe you might have revealed sensitive information by mistake, please contact the bank immediately.
• Remember that we will NEVER call you to ask for personal information regarding you or your accounts.
